Ballyclare Comrades FC joins The National Lottery Football Weekends campaign

We are pleased to advise supporters that this Saturday’s (26th March) game against Newry City at Dixon Park has been selected as our dedicated #TNLFootballWeekends fixture, with home supporters able to obtain free tickets if they are National Lottery players.

As fans, you know full well how damaging the pandemic has been to clubs like ours. With a halt in the football calendar and no gate revenue there were serious fears about the future of many clubs. Thankfully National Lottery players stepped in to protect many local football clubs, providing £12.5million of support to clubs in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

As thanks for the essential support, 231 clubs in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are now taking part in The National Lottery Football Weekends.  Each club will, for one home fixture in March or April, run a special ‘Buy One Get One Free’ ticket offer for National Lottery players to take someone – potentially for the very first time – to a game.

The buy-one-get-one-free offer gives supporters the chance to get their second ticket to the game for free in exchange for providing proof of a National Lottery product (e.g. Lotto ticket, scratch card).

Following payment of match admission, the match attendees must clearly display their TNL ticket at the gate to matchday staff to be eligible for the offer. This will allow free admission for their accompanied guest free of charge. Each club has been given a limit of 150 tickets, which will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Key Information Summary:

– The National Lottery ticket offer allows supporters to buy one ticket and get a second ticket for free when they show proof of a National Lottery product at the time of purchase.

– This offer can only be activated at the turnstiles of Dixon Park on matchday.
