Warrenpoint come into the game without a win in their last 13 outings. They’ll be looking to get back to previous form which has seen them overcome Crusaders and league-leaders Linfield in the NIFL Premiership this season.
Paul Harbinson’s men have had a positive return to action, defeating Knockbreda, Banbridge Town, Newington and Portstewart in the preparation friendlies, scoring 16 goals in the process. The Comrades have a tough task ahead of them when they travel to Milltown on Tuesday night. Ross Holden will miss out due to a prolonged injury sustained in the summer.
You have to go back to 2017 when these two sides last met in the Championship. Thomas Robinson was the only scorer that day in a 1-0 victory at Dixon Park. Warrenpoint later went on to win the Championship that season and have remained in the Premiership since.
