Ballyclare Comrades are pleased to announce 3 new signings before the start of the season.
David Taylor joins the club on loan from Premiership outfit Ballymena United, having spent time out on loan to gain valuable Championship and PIL experience, at Dundela and Coagh United respectively.
Daniel Gordon joins on loan from Larne, having previously spent time at Shankill United, while Barry McKervey also joins having came through the Larne youth pathway.
Speaking, Comrades Manager, Nathan McConnell said:
“We are delighted to secure the signings of David, Daniel and Barry .
David’s performances at a young age earned him a long-term professional contract at Ballymena. Over the past couple of weeks he has trained with the group and he has also been involved in a few of our pre season games . We feel over the coming season that we can get the best out of him and utilise him across our frontline.
Barry is a versatile player who can play at fullback or in middle of the park. He is an energetic player who enjoys getting on the ball and we are delighted to secure his signature for the upcoming season .
Daniel Gordon’s stats over the last two years at Larne have been phenomenal and we believe we can give him the right platform to showcase this at senior level over the next 12 months.
